理论研究室

理论研究室以新进博士科研人员为主体,以天体物理学为主攻方向形成了较为合理的学术梯队。目前,研究领域涵盖了光通讯、规范理论、小行星物理、实测天体物理、中子星物理。共有科研人员4人,其中副研究员2名、助理研究员2名;其中博士4人。发表SCI论文50余篇,EI及核心论文20余篇。 

    

研究方向 

1.光通讯 

光与原子的相互作用的很多现象,譬如慢光、光存储、静态脉冲等,对量子通信和量子计算有重要的意义。而光诱导的光子晶体是实现全光控制的有效手段之一。基于光诱导光子静态的光二极管在量子计算方面有很大的潜在价值。对于光诱导光子晶体的反射光的研究在科学与技术层面都是必要的。 

室内光通讯方面的科研集中在:基于激光与原子之间的相互作用的慢光、光存储、静态脉冲以其寿命、光诱导光子晶体的反射现象中的 Goos-Hanchen 位移、以及光子轨道角动量对在光与物质之间的相互作用的影响。 

2.规范场理论 

拓展广义相对性原理研究范围到强相互作用,借鉴弯曲时空中庞加莱规范理论,发现矢量介子张量项能被洛伦兹群的规范方法定义。此方向工作对准确描述中子星中核物质间的相互作用有重要的意义。 

3. 小行星物理 

小行星物理主要的研究对象包括各种类型小行星的大小、自转状态、物质组成、表面物质光学特性、内部结构等基本物理性质及其相互关系。通过这些物理性质的观测与理论研究,试图揭示太阳系小行星长时标演化的物理机制,提供太阳系形成初期原始太阳星云物质成分与环境信息的线索。 

4、实测天体物理 

实测天体物理是现代天文学研究中发展最快的领域之一。本着发挥研究所观测设备优势,结合天体物理学前沿方向,以及与行星科学、地球科学等学科交叉需求,我们选择行星物理实测研究作为本研究室实测天体物理研究的主要突破口。目前,我们已经开展了太阳系小天体形态学及其表面物质特性等方向的实测研究内容,并将进一步开展太阳系外行星系统测光观测和太阳系小天体分光观测等一系列行星物理基本性质实测研究。 

5.中子星物理 

20171016日,全球多国科学家同步举行新闻发布会,宣布人类第一次直接探测到来自双中子星合并的引力波,并同时“看到”这一壮观宇宙事件发出的电磁信号。这将中子星的研究再次推向高潮!中子星是脉冲星的理论对应体,它是恒星演化的最终产物。近年来对脉冲星热演化的天文观测愈来愈精细,特别是PSR J1614-2230PSR J0348+0432 的发现,使得脉冲星质量上限增加到约2倍太阳质量,这对中子星状态方程提出了新的挑战。室内中子星物理的科研集中在:中子星相结构、冷却和热演化性质等。
